200 catches!

A blinder of a catch from Rahul Dravid saw him becoming the first cricketer to hold 200 test catches.

It was a straight delievery from Harbhajan that caught the edge of Steyn's bat. It looked like another half chance going down before Dravid quickly grabbed an unbelievable catch.

Here is the interview of Rahul Dravid after taking 200th catch:

12000 test runs for Rahul Dravid

With the score of 43 in the 2nd innings , Rahul Dravid has managed to be the 3rd test cricketer to cross 12k runs mark ( Sachin and Ponting have already achieved this feat).
Dravid was looking very comfortable at the crease and was set to stay till the end of 4th day's play.
But a beautiful delievery from Morkel sent him back, leaving Team India in trouble.
Sachin managed to get his 50th test ton and lead a fightback along with Dhoni. Team India is now trailing by 30 runs with 2 wickets in hand.

A bad news : Rahul Dravid not in probable 30s for WC 2011

All the hopes of seeing Rahul Dravid playing for his team in WC 2011 have been shattered as selectors have excluded him from probable 30 players list.
It does not come as a shocker though.
He was not in the ODI frame for almost 2 years. And given the performance of the youngsters like Raina and Kohli, the selectors never felt the need of bringing The Wall back to the ODI squad. Above all, the fact that the WC will be played in the subcontinent remains the prime reason behind dropping Dravid and handing an opportuinity to the youngsters.
Anyways, let's wish all the very best for Team India and hope that they do not dissapoint the home crowd.

RCB without Rahul Dravid?

Shocked? Its true!
Surprisingly, RCB team management has decided to release their top performers including Rahul Dravid, Jacques Kallis and Robin Uthappa.
RCB is the only franchise who are against retention of the players. On the other hand, MI have made their intentions of retaining Sachin and Harbhajan quite clear.
It will be interesting to see which team Rahul Dravid plays for in the 4th IPL.
