(Youngsters = Great fielding) ! Ohhhhhh, really?????????????

India vs Srilanka: 1st T20
Yuvraj was too much excited - he was wearing colourful goggles, he entereed the ground with some shiny cream applied on his hair and wearing typical arrogance on his face. It was as if he was going for his ad-shoot.
The match began. 2-3 times the ball was in the hands of Yuvraj and everytime he threw the ball towards the stumps to pressurize (!) the batsmen. Useless throws for sure!
Then came the lollypop catch- and guess what, our best (!) fielder dropped it as easily as the catch was. Now look at him - he thought it was a part of advertisement where he was supposed to drop the catch, take some pill (Revital! jiyo jee bharkein), and take the next catch diving to his left. Everything was going as per the plan, but he was amazed to see the crowd turned up to watch his ad-shoot. After some time, he was told by someone that it's a real game and Yuvraj got angry. Where are those Revital idiots? Didn't they ask me to come on time?

It's just an example of how good the youngsters are at fielding. Looking at the way Yuvraj, Raina, Rohit Sharma, Uthappa, Jadeja field, I can safely conclude that the best fielder is the one -
1. who can cry in pain as if the finger is fractured after dropping the catch
2. who can think of diving over  the ball if it's too easy to field
3. who can move away from the line of the ball and then dive and stop it (in the meantime, the batsmen are through with a single)

People like Rahul Dravid, Sachin Tendulkar do not fit in this criteria. They are silly - they do not drop a single lollypop catch nor do they dive over the ball. They can never become good fielders! sad.

  1. our fielding and bowling are in a jeopardy... what luckily we have is just a good batting line-up, but cricket is not just about batting, i seriously criticise the way things are going... u right, youngsters= fielding, nahhh...
